The Network

The BGN Network

BGN is a worldwide network of independent professional firms working with stressed and distressed businesses and their stakeholders.  It is multi-disciplinary.  Its members are linked together for their own benefit and that of their clients.  Unless otherwise disclosed, the members have no equity interest in each other and all practice under their own names.

Founded in early 2006, BGN now has members in 19 countries.  Membership is growing rapidly.

The network is operated through a non-profit making company, limited by guarantee.

The policies of BGN are primarily determined by the Operational Committee, which consists of the network’s executive officers, elected representatives from its regions and a number of non-executive members.  All matters fundamental to the network are discussed at regional and annual general meetings, and are subject to approval or rejection by the members, each of whom has one vote.

Membership of BGN is by invitation only, following an approval procedure, which is designed to maintain the highest professional standards amongst the membership of the network.
